I have painted many different subjects using a variety of techniques, from classical Chinese painting to Western watercolour and oil. Since my retirement from the engineering profession, I have travelled extensively, and getting much inspirations from nature. For example, from watching the idiosyncratic walk of groups of penguins in the Falkland Islands; safari animals jostling around waterholes in South Africa and the dance of the flamingos in Namibia. I found watercolour to be the perfect medium for quickly capturing the essence of the creatures encountered during my travels.
