Anastasia Yablokova was born and grew up in St. Petersburg, Russia. Since early childhood, drawing has been her favourite pastime. She received a university degree, graduating from St. Petersburg State University of Culture and the Arts, and later she finished two courses at the Russian School of Design "Art-Futura" in St. Petersburg and got diplomas in arnd in designt a. Since 2006, Anastasia has been an apprentice with excellent professional painters. She honed her painting skills at plein air courses in Russia, Montenegro, France and the United Arab Emirates. From 2009 to 2019, the artist lived and worked in Dubai (UAE), frequently travelling to various beautiful parts of the world. Until 2012, the artist worked mainly in the style of realism, using different techniques (watercolour, pastel, oil painting). Then, she starts drawing in the fantasy style and develops a new unusual style, which can be compared to Art Nouveau. It can be described as her own unique symbolism. This style captures Anastasia's interest and she delves deeply into the language of symbols and their interpretation. As a result, her paintings are not only fine, yet captivating, combinations of colours and patterns, but also with profound, sacred meaning. Anastasia's exhibition activity also starts in the UAE. The artist takes part in group exhibitions in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and other emirates, presents collections of her works at individual exhibitions. She successfully participates in international art weeks and becomes a winner at international art competitions in Russia and abroad. Since mid-2019, the artist lives in Montenegro, where she continues to work in her two favourite styles - realism and symbolism. Anastasia Yablokova is a member of the Professional Union of Artists of Russia and a member of the National Pastel Society of Russia. Her paintings are in private collections in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Montenegro, America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
