ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Achromatic colors are a symbol of complete control of the mind over instincts and desires. This great power of will and self-control is not subject to all people. The atmosphere is full of shades of gray gives comfort to one type of people, while other, more emotional types feel apathy, depression, devastation and indifference to life. In this painting, I expressed a deep sense of emptiness caused by the loss of motivation and passion that is the center of movement and source of energy. The struggle of white and black forms will focus our attention on the balance in the composition, defeating the dominant gray.
