Born on June 17, 1985, in Naples, Italy, Andrea Villanis, known professionally as Drew.Lab_One, is a Berlin-based urban artist celebrated for her innovative fusion of semi-realistic portraiture and abstract calligraphy. Her artistic journey commenced at the age of 13 in experimental theater, where she cultivated a deep passion for portraiture and the expressive potential of the human form.​ Pursuing studies in modern philology, Drew.Lab_One developed a profound appreciation for the power of language and words. This academic background seamlessly intertwined with her artistic endeavors, leading her to explore the realms of classical calligraphy.
