"I'm a landscape painter and I bring the beauty of the Italian landscape to the world" I was born in 1986 in Tuscany, where I still live and work, inspired by the particular beauty of this Italian region. I studied at the International School of Comics in Florence and worked as a comics colorist, thus having the possibility of studying color also from a scientific point of view. But soon my love for nature pushed me to abandon the world of comics to dedicate myself completely to painting landscapes. I studied the painting techniques of the ancient masters of Italian Art, particularly Caravaggio, but also the French Impressionists, who had in common with him the direct observation of nature and the prominence of light. I love painting the beautiful landscapes of my Tuscany often working outdoors, as French Impressionists, but always looking for the light-shadow contrast, as Caravaggio used to use. I apply to the landscape the same strong light-shadow contrasts typical of this great Baroque master, with the intent of experimenting an use of light in a metaphysical sense. If he investigated the soul of man with light, I tried to investigate the metaphysical face of nature with his own light. I have collaborated with some important Italian art galleries, and many of my artworks are in private collections around the world. I work also on commission.
