Zoe Desbiens is a French-Canadian contemporary abstract painter based in beautiful Vancouver, BC. Art made a passionate entrance later in her life and she began her journey as an artist in 2013. Self-taught and following an intuitive creative process, her work resembles closely that of Abstract Expressionism with a mix of Impressionism. Using mostly acrylic on canvas, she creates textures, layers and plays-with-light to explore the human experience, emotions, desires and her surroundings.
