Monstrum and JC painting FIORI is driven by a natural impulse of creation; our work is always a research of equilibrium of forms and colors;looking for a balance between our two opposite styles:JC works on wide surfaces with virtuosity and confidence and Monstrum, the opposite, play with details and tiny lines. FIORI is born on a piece of furniture found in the Parisian street on which there were many screws whom compromised our freedom of expression and creation so JC started to glue fruit bags (he was recycling since a long time) on them and slowly flowers were born and in few hours they exploded in colors. The artwork want to emanate light,hope,rebirth and freedom which we both believe to be our vision

MONstrum and JC (MON JC) are a couple of self-taught painters. Monstrum alias Carlotta,JC alias Gauthier. MONJC is the meeting between two artists with different styles but with identical references and visions. Both are driven by this quest for the representation of the Human. Their painting is the expression of their feeling, they mix and connect. They create a fresco of dreams and nightmares.Jc teaches Monstrum to stratify, Monstrum shows jc the monsters that each work embodies and reveals, so as to create new, regenerated, transfigured, invented humans. Their research is purely empirical: the subject is the human, contemplated not as a tangible model but as a metamorphosis of the imaginary, ideal, fantastic man and at the same time degraded by the expression of his monstrosity, spoiled by the chaos fueled by society, in this it age of destruction, amplification and fiction.
