About The Artwork

I am facinated with cheetahs. Their speed, agileness and beauty make me want to paint her head frequently. She faces the future without fear, looking out for the savest path to take with her cups.

At the age of twelve I already loved to draw and paint. I started out with oil paint. Fun as it was, I left it a side for years before picking up the aquarelle brush again. Publisher 'Terra' published the book I made with my sister 'Tussen kleur en gebroken licht' (between colour and broken light). I illustrated with aquarelle the poems my sister wrote.1500 Books has been sold. Now I take great pleasure in painting on large canvas with acrylic paint. Mostly I paint wild animals, but I also specialize in fluid art.
