I have been making art since childhood and am constantly creating in various media. Lately I've been working on more abstract work, but by no means exclusively. Sometimes I set out with an express idea of what I'd like to do, but any object, line, spot, blob, etc. can be the starting point of an artwork. Randomness can be as fun or fruitful as intention. I've studied at the Art Students League in NYC. Other activities - I'm a professional jazz musician and also am the co-creater and -producer of the Secret Science Club, a monthly arts and lecture series that has been going on since 2006. Both music and science have served as inspiration for my visual art.
