Now we have entered the digital media era. Our daily lives and realities have fundamentally changed. People's information and communication channels are multifaceted, fragmented, and unsystematic. What we are seeing is the rise of "self-media." At the same time, it is difficult to distinguish between true and false information, which will inevitably affect people’s daily behaviours. I try to combine traditional Chinese ink art with Western oil painting techniques to create a new artistic language. I use paper as the object of my expression: such as a piece of wrinkled paper, a mask or other paper products, because these are what we see every day. I choose to use a realistic way to depict a false reality, reflecting the false reality that exists in our daily lives, as well as the contradiction between false and true. My paintings include the following concepts: People tend to accept false truths, even true falsehoods When people see the objects I draw, they think they are real objects and want to touch them, but when they find out that they are paintings and not real objects, they are at a loss. People live in a false reality because people often optimistically believe that the object is real even if it is false. In addition, paper masks can also hide people's true sides. The logic of painting production and the logic of creative conception should be connected I textured the first layer with GEL and then painted the first pass with acrylic dye. Then use oil paints to paint several times, deliberately not making detailed descriptions, but retaining some rough brushstrokes and painting traces, which is different from classical realism and photographic realism, and forms a fake reality. After multiple layers of painting on linen, the original effect of the painting was retained to complete the painting "False Reality".
