A black panther and beautiful woman in a fantasy world where wild beasts and humans co-exist in harmony and affinity with each other. I am especially drawn to portraying a mystic relationship between women and wild animals, and here I conceive the model as a kind of Eve in a new Eden. If only Earth ...

Contact us.I’m an English Artist who grew up in Africa where a passion for Wildlife was born in me - along with a desire to share that passion through Art. I’ve been a working Artist for most of my adult life now, having progressed through various stages in order to survive; the path of an Artist not necessarily being a straight or easy one! Following upon a few years in France and Italy training in classical studios, I then spent many years doing Portraits of people and to commission. Notable portrait work has included series commissions for the CBS network in LA, and in 2014, a very large canvas of the rapper “Drake” with twenty people. This was featured on BBC Radio and several Music and Rap magazines that year, largely because of the subjects’ fame. As time passes, I find my original passions for Wildlife and Nature have become the main focus of my artistic activity. I prefer to view animals in their natural environments and go regularly to sanctuaries (not Zoos) in the UK and abroad, and to a favourite Arab horse ranch in California for reference material and interaction with the animals. From these sketches and photographs some make it to larger paintings, mostly in Oil. One of my Arab horse paintings was purchased by the Royal Court in Riyadh some years ago - a huge thrill and honour as the Middle East is the true home of this amazing breed.
I have exhibited with several Art Groups and Societies in the UK, including The Society of Women Artists in Westminster and The Association of Animal Artists.
The journey of an Artist is a lifelong one, both in perception and in translation. The world has changed a lot since I first picked up my pencils as a little girl in Africa. And it will continue to do so. The challenge for me as an artist is to keep finding the same magic and beauty in it now as I saw in it then – and to share that as effectively as I possibly can!
