Contact us.I paint the emotions that live quietly within everyday life—love, family, freedom, identity, and the connections that make us human.
My artistic practice is rooted in a fascination with people, relationships, and the stories we carry. I am particularly inspired by my affection for children, the strength of family bonds, and the beauty, complexity, and emotions found in everyday living. These experiences continually shape the subjects, atmosphere, and narratives within my work.
Working primarily in oil and acrylic on canvas, I explore colour, form, texture, and expressive mark-making to create paintings that invite the viewer to look beyond the surface. I often build layers of rich pigment using a palette knife and impasto techniques, creating tactile surfaces where the movement and texture of the paint become an important part of the visual experience.
For me, a painting is more than an image. It is a feeling made visible—a story captured in colour, texture, and form. I want each work to create an emotional connection with the viewer and, ultimately, become something meaningful within the space and life of its collector.
My practice also extends beyond my studio. I have organised art exhibitions and competitions for secondary school students, creating platforms where young artists can develop confidence, express their ideas, and share their creativity with a wider audience. I believe deeply in the ability of art to give people a voice and to connect us across different experiences and backgrounds.
I have also created commissioned artworks for art lovers and collectors, translating personal stories, ideas, and experiences into original works of art.
Based in Lagos, Nigeria, I work from my own studio, where I continue to explore new ideas, materials, and ways of translating human experiences into visual stories. Alongside my studio practice, I teach Art & Design to KS3 and KS4 students, an experience that continually reminds me of the limitless power of creativity and the importance of encouraging artistic expression.
My goal is simple: to create paintings that people don't just see, but feel—works that speak to them, stay with them, and become meaningful parts of their lives.
