Monique was born in Holland and grew up in Chile and Argentina. She studied in Switzerland and worked for an international luxury company, travelling the world for 15 years.
It was imperative for Monique to take art classes while traveling. Whether it be a drawing class in Rome, a sculpture class in Paris, or a painting class in Amsterdam, painting was her passion. In 2014 she relocated to Los Angeles with her family and became a full time artist and has exhibited in various juried art shows. Monique’s works have been acquired by collectors in London, Shanghai, Amsterdam, Monte Carlo, Paris, Geneva, Toronto, Athens and various cities in the USA.
