ABOUT THE ARTWORK
First Came the Passion was the first of the series of my close up flowers. It signaled my entry into a passionate new existence in the art world. This painting showcases the otherworldly characteristics of the lovely passion flower. The flower is sensual in nature and speaks the language of love with an ode to Georgia O'Keeffe. The painting is on a quality gallery wrapped 1 1/2 inch canvas ready to hang. The sides of the painting have an glazed gold bronze finish. This painting was awarded first place in the Magnolia Festival Juried Art Show. When shipped this painting will be crated in wood.
