ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I love painting animals and trying to capture their varied personalities. My work is most often done in bright semi-realistic colors. I try to take a rather minimalist approach, I leave a lot of white space thus allowing the viewer to fill in the blanks with their own imagination. My work is bright and colorful as well as light-hearted. My subjects and renditions are meant to bring joy to the viewer. Watercolor is a magical medium for me, I mix my colors on the paper not a palette allowing them to flow and create effects on their own.
