Flogging a Dead Horse Print

I started to paint in 1989 and started to do exhibition in 2016. From my early days in painting, I used this palette that is unique to me, namely contrasting bright, warm colors with intense blues. Influenced by a considerable number of artists from yesterday and today, famous or emerging, I draw my inspiration mainly from my imagination and my emotions. I started with rather naïve and figurative paintings to switch very quickly to abstract painting which leaves more possibilities to the imagination. I prefer to use oil as a medium because it is more conducive to achieving gradations. Today, I'm looking to work more on the structure while keeping a colour balance. I often work intuitively, letting the brush guide me. Open to discovering new techniques or new artistic fields, I want to continue to create with passion and be able to exhibit my works in art centers, museums or galleries without any geographical limit other than those of our planet earth.
