ABOUT THE ARTWORK
In work, Flood, a naked woman stands in this particular basin. The mood of the picture is gloomy due to the grey colours and the woman's facial expression, yet the way the figure stands in a basin also shows the absurdity. In this case, I show the female figure in the "ark", but we do not see the water flow that preceded the flood into the room. The title is not meant to be didactic, the flood refers to an unsolved difficulty, and the basin functions transparently as a means of escape and survival. However, it may not be suitable for it.
