VIEW IN MY ROOM
Flower Failure is part of the group of works dealing with the situation in Darfur, Sudan and the overwhelming degree of displacement and deracination, not to mention loss of life and general chaos, imposed on the area and my trying to make some sense of it. The large flower piece is a pendant. It represents the skewed priorities of the West, still mining its gaudy lifestyle while others are barely hanging on.
