I am Rufina Musina, an artist from Kazakhstan. I work in various genres, exploring elements of folk traditions and modernity with the help of creativity. My work covers a wide range of media, including painting, graphics, design, cinema. I worked at the film studio "Kazakhfilm", as a costume designer for 3 films, came up with images and developed sketches of costumes and paraphernalia. I have worked as a designer for more than 10 years, developing book design, packaging / labels, and making illustrations. I study history and in many of my works it is reflected, I write on those topics that made a deep impression on me. Now in painting I explore the theme of emotion and the way of expressing feelings, depicting flowers. In my graphic works I explore the theme of my native city. I release my art products, like notebooks, postcards, posters and shoppers.
