Adrián Astorga is an artist based in Barcelona. He studied Graphic Design, but it was in painting where he found a freer, more porous, and vital language. His practice is sustained as a landscape painting of the invisible: with patience, he interweaves stains and layers of pigment to shape dense and lush compositions, where chaos and order meet in a balanced visual symphony. Between calculated action and pure improvisation, he overlays, drags, blurs, and lets color burst forth, creating vibration, intensity, and an almost organic vitality. He uses sponges, rags, fingers, and spray as extensions of the body, turning each gesture into a bridge between inner sensation and the surface of the canvas. His works capture that precise instant just before form fully defines itself: an ambiguous zone, without closed figures or narratives, yet already charged with pure emotion. In them, natural landscapes and landscapes of the soul coexist: horizons of color that breathe, stir, and slowly dissolve. The viewer does not look at a mere representation, but lives an experience in motion.
