United Kingdom

I am an artist working in the north of England, UK. I am an expressionist artist who seeks to translate the abstract fabric of emotions, memories, and dreams into visible, tangible forms. I incorporate symbolism and figurative elements to express emotions, rather than to depict reality. I use bold strokes, vivid colours, and evocative textures to create vibrant and dynamic pieces. Every piece is approached spontaneously, layering mixed media with texture and found objects, guided more by intuition than by predetermined form or structure. My inspiration is woven from many threads: the transient beauty of nature; the works of Romantic artists and poets; and the power of emotive abstraction in masterpieces, such as those by Van Gogh, Matisse, and Nicolas de Staël. I studied art at Goldsmiths College, London. I exhibit my work online and in my local art galleries.
