Photorealistic painting of the white pigeon/dove. I only used black and white to capture the beautiful feature of the flying birds and the wings, feathers. I channel my enthusiasm for the amazing characteristics of animals by rendering them with academic oil painting techniques on canvas. The red sun is a symbol of life & the universe. The background is soft beige. As a spirit animal, pigeons have become a representation of many good things such as peace, love, and harmony. Pigeons have always been believed to bring good fortune. They are also believed to be messengers of tranquillity and peace. I believe that this painting could be a great living room statement piece.

Yuko Montgomery is a Japanese artist living in Nagasaki Japan where is surrounded by magnificent nature. The beauty of nature deeply inspires her artistic creations. Montgomery studied oil painting at Tama art university in Tokyo. Through a realistic and photorealistic style, Montgomery channels her enthusiasm for universal beauty onto canvas. Employing academic oil painting techniques in the creations of her pieces, she believes that oil gives life to her art because the medium "works inquisitively as if it has its spirit".
