I started drawing at a young age, and, while I pursued a professional career in architecture, I continued to paint as an avocation throughout my life. My website is wilsonpollockartist. I have taken private painting lessons, painting instruction at various art associations and studied painting at university level. I paint in watercolors and acrylics and my work is inspired by two environments in which I live, namely, the marine oriented region of Jamestown , Rhode Island and the plant and bird rich world of Sarasota, FL. I have exhibited in numerous art exhibitions in Pennsylvania, Boston, Rhode Island and Florida including one man exhibitions at the Jamestown Philomenia Library and at the Art Gallery of the Bird Key Yacht Club in Sarasota. Many of my paintings are with private collectors throughout the eastern United States.
