ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Follow me is an oil painting looking at an usual setting of a circus at night. The girl enticing the viewer in is wearing a bright yellow jacket and a gas mask, this is to represent that there is something not right about the environment. I also wanted to achieve futuristic synthwave / cyberpunk vibes from the painting. I created this piece by piecing together a digital collage on Photoshop and then painting from the screen, the image is manipulated in many ways and incorporates technology in to a traditional form of painting.
