Document of Authenticity included. ‘Fontana Viva’ is part of the Chateau d’Arte series, a series of monumental paintings in which personal stories intertwine with old myths. Created in the tranquility of the corona pandemic, these are my painterly Grand Cru's that show a world full of visual adventure. Rome, a city I visited often, is a city of fountains. In Rome I learned to drink, taste and appreciate water. And then no water from the tap, because the Italians generally do not drink water that had a technical process. But water from the (drinking) fountains on the street. And then you shouldn't think that every fountain spits the same water! No, that depends on which aqueduct the water supply comes from. And then it also matters that a fountain that is closer to the supply of an aqueduct gives colder water (from the mountains) than water that has been flowing through the city for some time. With a real Roman next to you, you cannot roam Rome without drinking water from the various fountains. With accompanying explanation about what you taste and why it is healthy. And apart from the water-thing, sitting comfortably on the edge of a water-spouting fountain in a warm sun increases your lust for life!
