My name is Tammy. I'm an Artist. I was born in little country in Caucasus region, in Armenia.I was raised Apostolic, and like most, received strong messages about sex and womanhood, namely: Sex is bad! Wait until marriage! Be a good wife—to a man! So when I ended up exploring sex with guys as a teen, I assumed I didn’t enjoy it because of guilt.Then when I was 23 years old, I saw a black girl, ( there are no black people in Armenia) and thought, "God,she's so beautiful..." We talked and got drunk together all night, and I had first and last kiss with her.. I was so afraid I'd hurt my parents,my boyfriend.During the next 4 years I started to paint black women portraits... I was trying to turn back the same feelings by my paintings... that was and still my secret... My life is not easy.. I'm afraid to come out and I don't have the courage to let my family and boyfriend to know who I really am!
