This is a replica from Ingres' painting. I've always admired this image! There is humility and mystery here. I've always wanted to understand what this girl is thinking. And I always wanted Madonna to look at me. This is the second picture and if you combine it with the previous one, you will get a...

Natalia is a Russian-born and Athens-based multidisciplinary artist. Raised in Saint-Petersburg, she was surrounded by beauty from her early age, it is not by chance that Art became her passion. Natalia received a pedagogical education, she has worked and continues to work with children, teaching them Art. Since 1999, she has been living and working in Greece. In 2014-2019, Natalia studied academic painting and drawing in Lazaros Ktenidis` art studio (a graduate of the Saint-Petersburg Imperial Academy of Arts). During her artistic career she participated in many group shows and organised two Solo art exhibitions. In her work, Natalia explores the mechanisms of self-awareness and self-regulation, studying the forms of internal dialogue and the ways people are connected with this time and energy. For this, the uses different media. Her paintings are a portal to the viewer's soul. In her work, she does not conduct a dialogue with the viewer, but leads him to a place where he can find a dialogue with himself and independently move through the road of contemplation to the end point of the path - self-knowledge. Her artworks can be found in private collections in Greece, Russia, Italy, Usa. ARTIST'S STATEMENT My art is about silence. My landscape painting is a study of it and a search for a place where it will be easy for a person, where he will not feel the fuss that tears his consciousness, where he will want to stop and listen to himself, think, figure it out and so come to his true self. The connection of a person with this place is what I call Silence. Beauty and silence are different for everyone. Inspired by the monuments of Ancient Greece, using the techniques of classical painting, I paint the white Silence of Eternity. Just as the fragments of the former greatness have preserved their beauty of timelessness to our own, so I, depicting it, preserve these impressions and sensations and convey them to the viewer, immersing him in a world where time has frozen, and he can be himself, to be free.
