'Free Particle' is a painting inspired by the profound concept of freedom and the boundless potential of the human mind. This work explores the idea that, much like a free particle floating freely through space, our minds have the incredible capacity to move without restraint, unrestricted by external forces. This painting serves as a visual reminder of the freedom that exists within our thoughts, free from the limitations and constraints imposed upon us. Viewers of 'Free Particle' are encouraged to contemplate the infinite possibilities that come with a liberated mind. The artwork aims to evoke a sense of curiosity and inspiration, inviting viewers to explore their own inner potential and embrace their uniqueness. The medium of acrylic on canvas was chosen to capture the vibrancy and energy of this concept. The Surrealist style allows for the intuitive expression of ideas and symbols, mirroring the free-flowing nature of human thoughts and the complexity of the psyche. The idea to create a painting for each core value from a value assessment test emerged from my curiosity about recurring symbols in my artwork. As I took the core values assessment, I made a significant discovery - the symbols that frequently appeared in my paintings were visual representations of my own core values. This revelation deepened my understanding of the importance of core values in the journey of self-discovery and self-acceptance, motivating me to create artworks that reflect and celebrate these values. 'Free Particle' is a testament to the power of the human mind, encouraging viewers to explore their inner worlds and liberate their creativity. It's part of an ongoing artistic journey that merges the intuitive with the Surrealist, illuminating the connections between our innermost values and our boundless potential.

Born and raised in Quebec, Canada, I currently call Quebec City my home. My artistic journey began when I overcame my fear of painting in February 2017, a turning point that marked the start of my creative exploration. My fascination with the intricacies of the human psyche has been a lifelong passion, and I channel this interest into my artwork. I draw inspiration from dreams, spontaneous mental visions, personal growth experiences, and impactful interactions. Through the language of painting, I endeavor to communicate the depths of the human experience. As a self-taught Surrealist artist, I primarily work with acrylic on canvas, a medium that has allowed me to vividly express my imagination. While I'm open to experimenting with other materials, acrylic remains my primary choice. My art serves a dual purpose – it's a form of therapeutic self-expression and a means of connecting with others. By crafting catalytic art, I empower analytical minds in fields such as psychology, philosophy, technology, academia, and healthcare. My goal is to help individuals cultivate deeper connections and amplify their impact. Through the brush strokes, colors, and imagery, I strive to guide people on a path toward authenticity. My artistic journey officially commenced during a Paint Nite event I attended to celebrate my 40th birthday in February 2017. This leap of faith marked the beginning of my transformative journey of self-discovery. As the canvas transformed under my hand, so did the layers of my identity. This profound self-understanding unleashed a cascade of changes in my life. While I am in the early stages of introducing myself to the art world, I have yet to participate in competitions or exhibitions, and my work is not currently part of any collections.
