As an artist, I express myself through colors, capturing serene moments in Swiss landscapes with bold brush strokes and vibrant hues. My preferred meduim is acrylic paint, which allows me to work quickly and spontaneously, creating an impressionistic style that evokes a sense of tranquilily and harmony. Growing up with a passion for painting, I started with oil and a realistic style. However,I soon found my voice in impressionism and switched to acryliccs, where I could experiment with color and texture in a more free-spirited way. My travels and experiences living in different continents have influenced my work, bringing a unique perspective to my paintings. I am drawn to the quiet beauty of Swiss mountains and lakes, where I find inspiration in stillness and simplicity of nature. Throug my art, I aim to capture the essence of these peaceful moments and transport the viewer to a world of beauty and serenity. Whether it´s the soft glow of a sunrise over the mountains or the stillness of a lake at dusk, my paintings seek to capture the fleeting beauty of these moments and preserve them for posterity. In my journey as an artist, I have learned from both formal classes and online courses, but ultimately, it is the act of painting itself that continues to be my greatest teacher. With each stroke of the brush, I discover something new about myself and the world around me, and I am grateful for the opportunity to share these discoveries with others. My name is Siham Itani, and I am a Swiss Lebanese artist, whose paintings seek to capture the quiet beauty of nature and inspire a sense of peace and harmony in the viewer.
