About The Artwork
This is a painting of 'people in abstraction' or I like to describe it as 'a suggestion of people'. I like painting human shapes and combining different poses. Inspired by dancers I made this 'landscape' of men and women. You can create your own story about how people interact with each other and the emotions they show you. The painting is made with expressive brushstrokes, palette knife and has a lot of structure and texture. Since 2021, ART Eva Maria has been working on a collection of paintings that is beautiful for people and the environment: the Online Gallery Sustainable Art Paintings. Portraits and paintings are made with durable paint. The paint is handmade with unique mixed colors. We mix the colors needed for each painting. The paint is made from non-toxic 100% natural earth and mineral pigments, which are authentic, light and colourfast.

Artist ART Eva Maria -------------------------------------- SOURCE OF INSPIRATION "Looking at people's faces and trying to figure out how they feel and what they think - that is my source of inspiration. This mysterious aspect fascinates me. Afterwards I will tell my own story - in colours and lines - about these people using various visual tools." -------------------------------------- I see nature (both landscapes and faces) as a gift that shows itself to me. I'm trying to catch the feeling that's inside of me, while being an observator. -------------------------------------- Showing the reality is not important, it's my personal impression and emotion that I wish to communicate. This is a very intuitive process during which my hand glides on paper or canvas. This way I am able to tell my own story in layers, colours and lines. Afterwards the art is not mine anymore and open to other people's eyes, making new stories as well. I'm always searching for new ways for my art (small to large sizes, different techniques) to travel and show themselves to public.
