Daniella was born in Lima, Peru. She moved at the age of twenty to USA where she graduated with Honors from Tyler School of Art, Temple University, Philadelphia, PA. Then she traveled and lived throughout the world in places such as Lisbon, New York, Philadelphia and London. The experience of living in such different places and cultures has marked the style in her paintings, which depict her passion for all forms of art, such as performance, music, dance and architecture. The precise instant in which abstract and figurative painting meet is what can be appreciated in Daniella Queirolo's work. It deals with an antithesis, a conflict between the main characters and their scattered, obscured background. It is precisely this setting of alteration that creates a contradiction of immense expressivity. Queirolo's work showcases a true departure, a didactic denouncement of painting in modern times. It is about an exercise in the juxtaposition of style, planes and the diverse methods through which one can achieve figuration.
