Art is my first love. Growing up in Haiti, I used to draw in my school books when I didnt have any drawing book, I would draw on the walls when there was no paper, and I would draw with coal when I didnt have pencils. Art is how I communicate, its a universal language that allows me to share the Haitian perspective, humanity, and love with the world to combat racism, xenophobism, and sexist beliefs to instead cultivate stronger relations.
