ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Watercolor is intended for writing/drawing with air and water. Winter landscapes are light, almost calligraphic strokes on paper. I try to keep the movement of winter air, perspective, softness and graphic quality at the same time. Somewhere a thin brush or pencil helps me. Winter flavor for gourmets. The texture of the paper itself is visible and becomes part of the painting itself. Color spots, lines and brush strokes become almost a full-fledged abstraction. But the image of landscape and architecture remains recognizable
