The painting expresses the concentration of a person on a certain idea, on a maturing thought. Intense dark strokes, twisted into a spiral, as if hanging in the air, convey the static thought at the very moment. This is a moment of reflection and evaluation when a person is focused and trying to find a solution or form a concrete thought from a virtual idea, which is often unattainable. At such a moment, silence and peace are very important, which is what the artist tried to show in the painting "Frozen Meanings". The huge size of the canvas is impressive and the viewer seems to be immersed in reflection along with the artist in order to find a solution. The dark, disturbing palette contrasts with the pastel calm light background, which adds dramatism to the image. The high quality of canvas and professional oil paints is guaranteed. The canvas is stretched onto a wooden stretcher frame and ready to hang. The surface of the painting is covered with a protective varnish. The size of the painting is 55.11 x 55.11 inches| 140 x 140 centimeters. The painting is one-of-a-kind, hand-signed on the front and backside of the canvas.

Morocco
A native of Belarus, Aksana Chmel now lives and works in Morocco. Her interest in art started very early. Art has always taken a very important place in her life. She started to study drawing and painting already in her early school years at the art studio of the Palace of Pioneers in Mogilev and then successfully graduated from the College of Culture and Arts in 1997. Aksana first visited Morocco with her future husband in 1992 and after finishing her education in Belarus, she moved there. In 2005, Aksana decided to follow her destiny as an artist and resumed painting. In 2008 her first exhibition took place at the Russian Cultural Center in the city of Rabat. She graduated as the Interior Designer from the Higher School of Architecture and Design in 2010. In the following years and up to the present day Aksana has participated in many collective art shows and also organized her numerous personal exhibitions. Today Aksana Chmel continues her active career as a professional artist, her works have found home in private collections in many countries such as Morocco, Russia, France, Italy,UK, USA and UAE. In her abstract paintings, she speaks to us in the language of colors and shapes about such deep philosophical meanings as : where we come from, who we are, why we are on this earth and what is happening in the human soul. And in the flowers and women's faces she wants us to read the poetry of our world. Aksana finds her inspiration in the beauty of each day and in many different mindful and spiritual practices. All of her oil paintings are unique and exist in a single copy only.
