ABOUT THE ARTWORK
We tried in my classes to carry out a "Still Life" exercise, generating a mini stage with fabrics and placing fruits on them. The objective was to observe the fruits while we were painting, trying to arrive at a suitable color, but then playing with it by giving it expression, rhythm and identity. The fruits are from Bali, Indonesia, where bananas are very typical and fruits such as apples are also exported from China. The chosen medium is A3 size paper and made with acrylics, ideal for posing in a glass frame.
