These unique, wonderful roses The inspiring story of the play This series of works whose only apparent themes are roses and leaves, goes back to the life story of the most important women in my life and in the life of humanity. These unique roses, realized with my own style and expression, are metaphors of life and learning, of strength and weakness, of sweetness and agrura: they collect all the feelings and the times, the short ones and the long ones, the fleeting eternity. The influence they have had on me, women as important as my grandmothers, my mother, my sisters, my wife and my daughter in my personal life, and the influence I have received from women social leaders such as Joan of Arc, Rosa Luxemburg, Rosa Parks, and the leaders of the women's rights movement in the US, and indigenous leaders in Ecuador and in America, such as Transito Amaguana, Dolores Cacuango, Micaela Bastidas, etc.
