Born in 1974 in Lithuania Contemporary art and abstract painting – it’s individuality, which is not affected by environmental disturbances. I paint what I feel, what inspire me as an artist – this can be desert, full of movement city, the colors of recently visited cities, taste, – all real emotions. I was strongly impressed by the fact that in the studio only am I, prepared handmade canvas and colors. Pure creativity, flight and feeling of present. Often I start to paint only having an idea, visual color of experiences and do not know what the painting will look like at the end. Color is an essential element of the painting, but the basic idea is the to convey emotional impact. Breathe in. Breathe out. Ocean series’ abstract paintings born after my journey in islands of Seychelles, Africa where the air is full of salty breeze, and sun gives you unlimited kisses. Where You hear ocean whatever you go, where You see horizons between waves and wild beaches. I sketched all days long after diving in ocean, after running in wild untouched beaches where you cant even see the end, after warm and bright nights under the stars, after exploring green earthy tropical jungles inside of islands. There were no end for inspiration and energy of creativity. These paintings ended up in my studio full of bright colors, elements of the underwater world, symbols of the ocean, waves and horizons between the shades od blue sky. Travels change You and salt water heals everything. It is important to find and live in balance.
