The philosophy behind the work is to how to understand and how to survive the freaky connections we have with the material world. Otto Farkas, directly translating as Otto Wolf, was born January 1971 in Budapest, Hungary. A contemporary fine art painter specialising in oil on canvas, he was driven from the age of 14 to be a painter. Encouraged by his family, tutored and mentored by his friend and neighbour Ferenc Hazman, Professor of Arts at the Hungarian University of Applied Arts, solo and group exhibitions began in Hungary from 1995 and across Europe from 2002. Membership of the Association of Hungarian Painters (MOAE) was achieved through a juried panel held at the Duna Gallery in Budapest, Hungary, in 2004, with the work 'Rubedo' (Blood Sacrifice) that resulted in a donation of the work 'Dancing On The Streets' to the Hungarian Cultural Museum. After holding a series of strong exhibitions Otto decided to bring his work to a wider audience and in 2006 brought his base to London. Otto now spreads his time across the two countries working as a full time artist.
