Artist Statement: I want my art to be the first thing you notice in a room, bold, colorful, sexy – engaging. I use color and texture to create a feeling of vibrancy and also depth – I don’t want people to feel it is simply playful art. Much like a beautiful woman, with a brain. I am able to convey the feeling that makes me feel happy – can you feel the sand – smell the salt air, and taste the light champagne bubbles? Hear the samba music playing in the background? That’s what I strive for – I am a lover of all things fashionable and yet beachy. I long for days on the French Riviera, California Coast, and any place where there is sun.
