Dominican plastic artist, doctor of veterinary medicine and educator. From an early age, he followed his own instincts in the use of materials and techniques in order to seek ways to polish his technique through research and continued practice. Painting is his passion. It has always been a need satisfied through each work accomplished., it reflects a form of expression without the confinements of just words, a tool for turning ideas into a language that is always evolving. To paint is to reach beyond the limits of knowledge and feeling and mold these into image and color. In the process of creation, he prefers the use of mixed media to create vivacity in both Color and texture. Good part of his work, he rescues non-pictorial materials and urban waste, that combines in his compositions to expresses ideas and concepts of the human spirit. He declares that his source of his inspiration is born within soul, when he tries to answer the question of what his role is in life, in society, or when he tries to reach for that star that he never gets to touch, but that certainly guides him along the way. Through his artworks, he looks to awaken the spectator´s sensitivity to his inner world, the examination of his/ her 's own conscious thoughts and feelings. In this context compared with perception, reason, memory, and testimony as a source of knowledge. His artworks have a sense of search of self, to invite reflection and introspection.
