My interpretation of the mythical Gaia the goddess of earth or nature, hence the green and earth tones. I was inspired here by Botticelli, not by his technique as mine has an embossed effect, but in the tilt of the head to suggest a sad and forlorn look and also the flowing hair. Since man is destroying nature, I imagine that Gaia would be sad and weary as if the life is being slowly drained out of her.

I'm an English artist living and working in Athens, Greece. I have been a creative person for as long as I can remember. For that reason, I have worked in many different styles over the years and used several different mediums to express myself. I'm always searching for new sources of inspiration. When my mind wanders to unknown paths, I hope to take the spectator with me and see my journey through my eyes. Former graphic designer and illustrator for Disney licensees in Greece. Author and illustrator of the children's book, Fairatella, which was released in Spring, 2019.
