About the Artist

Stuart Dalby

United Kingdom

I was born into a family of practicing artists with the smell of paint and pencils wafting through the house.
I was trained as a carpet designer, attending art college for three years part time while being mentored by an experienced designer in the studio of the company I was apprenticed to.
The basic training was that of any fine artist and I have always painted.
Most of my paintings are based on sketches and photographs that I have made of people, places and things.
I have sold paintings through out the UK, USA and Saudi Arabia.
I have exhibited at the Birmingham Open, Harris Brush Works and The Malvern Theatres in England.
I hope you like my paintings.
