ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The series of twelve relatively small paintings consists of loosely interpreted subjective circle associations. The flush, the basin, the egg, the skull, the lampshade, the toilet bowl, the ring, all imply circularity. The circle can be a sign of completeness, of infinite freedom, or of the never-ending trap, of eternal repetition.
