ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Gannets of gulls living in the northern Atlantic Ocean join groups when they reach adulthood and settle in one place for life in pairs. The reason I started drawing animals is that I began to pay attention to the existence of all nature, including humans, from the appearance of modern humans struggling in pain even though they enjoyed a lot of things without knowing their satisfaction. In particular, I have recently started to pay attention to the birds that come to me and I feel like I am sharing inspiration with them. In particular, I explored through birds what love is and what it is to be together in Korea, where population decline is the most serious issue, and love or childbirth is no longer an individual purpose, and marriage has also become a perfect condition for modern people's lives. In addition, this exhibition is being exhibited at Ewha Womans University Seoul Hospital in Korea, so we wanted to express a comforting picture for people visiting the hospital. I also included my opinion that love should be facing each other and my soulmate's opinion that looking in the same direction.
