ABOUT THE ARTWORK
One of several paintings prepared for "Mon cher Chopin" exhibition by the SYMFONIA Creative Group in 2016 in tribute to this great composer. The oil painting on canvas in an abstract way represents piano’s keyboard, light flowing from the music and national colours of Poland and France. Music that seems to flow outside. The sharp colours of light refer to the Delacroix palette which was one of the first to appreciate Chopin's music. George Sand's writing and emotional relationship with Chopin refers to the tradition of the manor house in Nohant where the concept of romantic synthesis of arts was born. The image makes us aware of the importance of the role of artists in our lives.
