Down in the basement of the Red Rooster restaurant in Harlem, New York is Ginny's Supper Club. On a visit to Harlem, I had the great pleasure of listening to Delfayo Marsalis and his large brass band playing New Orleans style Jazz. A treat for the senses.

Jennylynd James is a multidisciplinary creative—an artist, writer, singer, and food scientist—embodying the spirit of a modern Renaissance woman. Her professional work in the food industry has taken her across the United States, Latin America, Europe, and Canada, experiences that continue to inform and enrich her creative voice.
In 2009, while living in Ireland as an entrepreneur, Jennylynd uncovered a previously untapped talent for drawing and painting. What began as an extension of her artistic approach to running a food business soon evolved into a focused practice in portraiture and sketching.
She uses the vivid colours of her heritage to influence her work. Her artwork is held in collections in Mexico, Canada, the United States, the Caribbean and the UK.
