ABOUT THE ARTWORK
With the arrival of Winter I have created Glacial, a 91cm x 123cm abstract painting using plaster and acrylic paints on canvas. This beautifully coloured painting creates a striking visual impact with it’s rough texture and severe contrast with it’s mid height cut to grey. The cool combination of greys, greens, blues and purples as well as the plaster ‘dripping’ into the grey half of the canvas reminds me of ice, leading me to name the composition glacial. Glacial is currently on exhibition at the Industville showroom in East London and is available to buy.
