ABOUT THE ARTWORK
To me San Francisco is the most beautiful city in America. I love California, I love her trees. I love the Pacific, I love her mists. While visiting friends one day, I rode a bike to Lincoln Park. I had only a few paints and a small panel in my satchel but was so captivated by the Golden Gate bridge floating on a chariot of fog I began painting with my fingers and couldn't stop. I finished the bridge & rough houses with the help of a few long blades of grass as brushes.

Born in Los Angeles, where I studied film and new media, I completed my education in art and cultural history in British Columbia, Canada while painting on the side. I have shown in B.C., Alberta and Southern California. I Recently completed a self-directed visual artist residency at the prestigious Banff Centre. I was also honored to work with artist Gordon Halloran in the creation of the massive "Ice Gate 2010" for the Vancouver winter Olympic games.
