"Golden Light in the Countryside" Print

I am Amalie Galstyan, a Franco-Armenian artist deeply rooted in the traditions of painting and drawing, with my journey beginning at the Fine Arts Academy in Yerevan. Since my early years as a student, my passion and dedication to my craft have guided me to numerous exhibitions, setting the foundation for a rewarding artistic career. Over the past 15 years, my work has reached an international audience, exhibited in esteemed venues like Malta's National Museum of Gozo, Paris's Grand Palais Éphémère, and the Yerevan Museum of Modern Art, along with various galleries across Europe. Sharing these spaces with artists such as Enki Bilal, Daniel Gallais, and Theo Appel has been both an honor and a testament to my growth in the art world. My artwork is characterized by its vibrant, warm color palette and the use of diverse techniques, including oil on canvas, charcoal, watercolor, drawing, and ink. I aim to capture moments with clean, expressive lines, exploring depth through the interplay of light and shadow. Each piece I create is an invitation to feel and experience the atmosphere and emotion within, a reflection of my ongoing journey of mastery and experimentation in the visual arts.
