This piece is part of a series of monochrome landscapes which demonstrates the artist's interest in surrealism and the play on materials. The works change dramatically in the light and lack thereof akin to a living moment. These landscapes respond to their environment and reflect the viewer and their lived histories. They are influenced by ideas of nostalgia for a place and the connections made there.
